This catalogue is the result of support given to computerize the bryophyte collection of the National Herbarium.
The taxonomic arrangement corresponds to Brotherus (1925) with modifications by the author. In this version, only the species of Mexico or those related to them are included. The catalogue includes information regarding hornworts, liverworts and mosses. It is considered to be one of the most complete collections in Mexico, and contains 152 families, 812 genera and 1,727 species and 162 infraspecific names (taxa). |
