The Mexican wolf was part of the natural environment of Mexico until the 1970s.
Although considered extinct, there are still populations in captivity and reintroduced in the Southeast of the United States.
These populations offer us a second chance to reintroduce the wolf in Mexico and to conserve it as an important component of our ecosystems.
