With the aim of sharing the knowledge, conservation and sustainable use of the biological wealth of Mexico,we have made our image bank, with its collection of thousands of digital images of illustrations and photographs by different authors, available to the public.

Options of use:

Low Resolution: These images may be used for educational, scientific, image sharing and personal purposes. Conditions of use are: images are not to be used for commercial purposes and credit must be given to the author and CONABIO for every image used (e.g.: Photo: C. Rodríquez/Image Bank, CONABIO). We would appreciate if you advise us (Image Bank) which images you use and also which images you could not find, as this information will help us to improve the collection and provide a better service.

High Resolution: Most images can be provided with a higher resolution free of charge, on submission of the request form to Image Bank.

Non-profit: Fill out the request form and credit the author and CONABIO

For commercial purposes: it is necessary to meet certain requirements contained in the request form. You must have the prior written permission of CONABIO, since all images are protected by Federal Law of Copyright.
