The Institute of Ecology of Guanajuato requested CONABIO to hold informative meetings with various institutions to initiate the process of production of the State Study. The Convention of Interinstitutional Collaboration was signed, with the presence of the State Governor as witness of honor, on the 1st of October, 2009.

STATE STUDY. Two presentation and informative meetings have been held, and a workshop of the chapter coordinators and authors.
STRATEGY. Work has not begun.
Implementation activities in the strategy framework have not begun.
