2003	First contact with IMAE.
2006	Signing of the Convention of Collaboration IMAE, CONABIO and UAA.

2006	STATE STUDY. Two workshops held with authors, 37 experts from IMAE, CONABIO, UAA, INEGI, SEMARNAT and CEP participated.
2008 - 2009	STRATEGY. Seven workshops have been held for the planning and development of the State Strategy, with 120 participants of various sectors and institutions. It is now in the revision stage. The State Study was presented in December.
2010	Introduced in November 2010 the "Strategy for the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity in the state of Aguascalientes (ECUSBEA).

Implementation activities in the strategy framework have not begun.
